Well Done All Round for Deer Tracking Teams
Well Done to UKDTR Tracking Teams.
This weekend UKDTR hosted a gruelling event that tested the abilities of Deer Tracking Dogs and their Handlers.
Deer tracking teams offer a countrywide free service for the recovery of wounded deer, whether it is due to be hit by a car or a rare misplaced shot from a hunter, UKDTR and other organisations are there to help 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The aim of the weekend is to thoroughly test handlers and dogs through a 20 hour gruelling test testing the abilities of the teams in many situations that they may have to encounter when performing a track.
Well done to Deklan Marlow and his dog Kong for passing this weekend along with the rest of the teams involved, it is great recognition for the hard work and dedication of all the teams and organisations like UKDTR.
Well Done.
